WorkSafe Intermediate first aid is a 14-hour program (excluding breaks) designed to provide lifesaving first aid skills to workers in industry. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency, achieve a minimum of 70% on a multiple choice exam and attend the full course. On successful completion of the course, participants receive a 3-year certification.

- Basic Life Support (CPR “A” or CPR “C”
- Critical airway, breathing and circulation interventions with C-spine management
- Medical & Environmental Emergencies
- Burns, Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains
- Small Wound Management
Course Prerequisites
Candidates must be able to understand and perform the first aid skills required to complete the learning tasks. No previous first aid training is required
