RC Standard Shift Crew Boss First Aid Ticket

Standard Workplace First Aid is a 16-hour program.  The first day of this course focuses on the most common and critical life-threatening situations one may encounter. It provides basic first aid knowledge to care for adults, children and infants in case of an emergency.  The second day provides more comprehensive information on medical emergencies as well as CPR “C” (adult, child & baby) certification.  In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency, achieve a minimum of 75% on a multiple-choice exam and attend the full course.  The third day is the WorkSafe BC Transportation Endorsement.  Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross Standard CPR “C” (WorkSafe BC Level I equivalent) and a WorkSafe Transportation Endorsement certificate. Both first aid certificates are valid for three years.
